Berrima Australia Day Parade:
The annual Australia Day Parade at Berrima is one of The Southern Highlands premier tourist events. The parade through the main street has a long history and is well attended by spectators. The Sydney Hunt Club has again been asked to participate.
Marshalling for participants shall be no later than 11am however SHC participants shall meet at a local property beforehand and arrive at the central marshalling point in one group. For those that have riden in the parade before they all say it is a memorable experience held in a great community spirit.

Remember all riders must be in full hunt club attire and horses & tack turned out in good condition otherwise entry may be refused. So bring your friends and family to watch you ride at Berrima on Thursday 26/1/12. Plenty of things for the family to do.
SHC Annual General Meeting:
Please be advised the Sydney Hunt Club AGM will be held at 11am on Sunday 25/3/12 at The Hubertus Club, Adams Road, Ludenham. Whilst all are welcome only current financial members will be entitled to vote. There are still vacancies on The Committee for those wishing to nominate.
There will be the opportunity to have lunch afterwards in the club's renowned restaurant with drinks at bar prices.
Opening Hunt 2012 Season;
This years opening meet shall be held on Sunday 6/5/12 and will mark the start of the 3rd centenary of 'Riding to Hounds' in Australia. So please make sure you and your horse are fit and ready to go hunting as a wonderful season awaits.
Location details will be forthcoming shorly after the program is approved by the membership at the upcoming AGM.
2012 Hunt Season Program;
Whilst the 2012 season calender has been established before publication it must be approved by the SHC Club members at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Once approved it shall be available on this website or from any Committee Member.
Mid-week Hunting:
Interested in joining the field on selected Wednesday's? Contact Les our Huntsman (0408-166 918 or 4773-4369) for further details and dates. Take a day off work, go on you deserve it!
ATTENTION - All Equine Clubs:
Are you a member of, or know of, an Equine Club or Pony Club interested in trying hunting?
Give them a chance to try something new for their members and their horses.

Help The Huntsman:

SHC Promotion:
We need your help in promoting your club and our sport of hunting to hounds. The committee have a number of assorted flyers available for distribution to interested people, organisations or businesses. So if you have a local saddlery or such that are happy to display / receive some flyers please get yours from the SHC Secretary and do your bit to ensure the future!
