SHC Annual General Meeting;
The AGM of The Sydney Hunt Club Inc. shall be held on 28/3/10 at 11am, The Hubbertus Club, Adams Road, Luddenham. Preliminary notices have already been sent to current financial members but should you require any further information please contact The SHC Secretary.
After the meeting there shall be the opportunity to socialise over lunch at the clubs restaurant and drinks are available at club prices.
Membership for SHC 2010:
Please note Subscriptions for Membership of The Sydney Hunt Club Inc. 2010 season are due by 1st March, 2010. Whilst all are welcome to the upcoming AGM only current financial members for the 2010 season shall be allowed to participate.
Please note that The Committee has worked hard to maintain 2010 membership fees at previous levels, without your support we cannot maintain this.
Welcome New Committee Member:
It is with much pleasure that we welcome our newest SHC Committee Member Shannon Darby. Shannon has come to our club with a background of Hunting in New Zealand and as demonstrated at our last Committee meeting she has a heap of enthusiasim, fresh ideas and a willingness to get involved.
There are still vacancies on your Committee for any interested member. It is not particularly well paid or glamourous but is a ton of fun.
Other SHC Events:
Whilst the 2009 Hunt Season is over the SHC does not rest and shall be holding a number of social events leading up to the Opening Meet of the 2010 Season.
Some will be horse related and others not so please check this site regularly for further details so you don't miss out on a great time.
2011 a Bi-Centenial Year:
We shall be celebrating 200 years of Hunting in Australia in 2011. As history records hunting in Australia commenced in Sydney so The Sydney Hunt Club shall be organising a number of events to mark this occassion.
Should you wish to be involved in the organisation and planing of events or have any items or memorabillia relating to the Sydney Hunt or just want to help please contact The SHC Secretary.

Interested in joining the field on selected Wednesday's? Contact Les our Huntsman (0408-166 918 or 4773-4369) for further details and dates. Take a day off work, go on you deserve it!
Sydney Hunt Club Social Committee:
Under the direction of Ken Yeatman we have formed a Social sub-Committee and would like the participation of ordinary members. Interested? Well contact Ken (9606-5172) to find out more.
Pony Club Hunt:
The Sydney Hunt Club hosted over a dozen riders from The Berrima & Districts Pony Club to their own Pony Club Hunt. From the 'Ribena Stirrup Cup' to the presentation of certificates both riders and parents had a wonderful experiance.

Are you a member of, or know of, an Equine Club or Pony Club interested in trying hunting?

Hound Sponsorships still available:
Now's your chance to keep the tradition strong and help sponsor our hounds. Suitable for individuals, groups or businesses. Enquiries contact the Hunt Secretary or Treasurer.
Help The Huntsman:
Your Huntsman needs help in working/exercising the hounds when they are not hunting. Contact Les (0408 166 918) to discuss times and requirements.

SHC Promotion:
We need your help in promoting your club and our sport of hunting to hounds. The committee have a number of assorted flyers available for distribution to interested people, organisations or businesses. So if you have a local saddlery or such that are happy to display / receive some flyers please get yours from the SHC Secretary and do your bit to ensure the future!
