Last hunts for season 2010;
September 5th's hunt at 'Wingello Park' shall be as per normal details. Remember the season is drawing to a close so don't miss out on these last few hunts.
E Bay Sale Items;
The SHC as part of it's fundraising shall be selling a number of horse & hunting related items on E Bay. You may be interested in purchasing something or may wish to donate something for sale to help raise funds for the upkeep of the hounds.

October Long Weekend:
Subject to final confirmation we shall be hunting 'Arthursleigh' at Marulan for 2 days hunting. This is a vast property with wonderful facilities within a few hours of Sydney. So join your friends and fellow club members for fun, food, sport and a rollicking good time.

Membership for SHC 2010:
Please note Subscriptions for Membership of The Sydney Hunt Club Inc. 2010 season are due by 1st March, 2010.
Those not financial as members as at the Opening Hunt shall need to pay visitor prices. Those intending to pay at Opening Hunt need to ensure they allow enough time to complete ALL paperwork or download a copy from this website and hand it in fully completed on the day before mounting.
Please note that The Committee has worked hard to maintain 2010 membership fees at previous levels, without your support we cannot maintain this.
Other SHC Events:
Whilst the 2010 Hunt Season is upon us we remind members that a number of social activities shall be held during and after the season.
Some will be horse related and others not so please check this site regularly for further details so you don't miss out on a great time.
2011 a Bi-Centenial Year:
We shall be celebrating 200 years of Hunting in Australia in 2011. As history records hunting in Australia commenced in Sydney so The Sydney Hunt Club shall be organising a number of events to mark this occassion.
Should you wish to be involved in the organisation and planing of events or have any items or memorabillia relating to the Sydney Hunt or just want to help please contact The SHC Secretary.

Interested in joining the field on selected Wednesday's? Contact Les our Huntsman (0408-166 918 or 4773-4369) for further details and dates. Take a day off work, go on you deserve it!
Sydney Hunt Club Social Committee:
Under the direction of Ken Yeatman we have formed a Social sub-Committee and would like the participation of ordinary members. Interested? Well contact Ken (9606-5172) to find out more.
Pony Club Hunt:
The Sydney Hunt Club hosted over a dozen riders from The Berrima & Districts Pony Club to their own Pony Club Hunt. From the 'Ribena Stirrup Cup' to the presentation of certificates both riders and parents had a wonderful experiance.

Hound Sponsorships still available:
Now's your chance to keep the tradition strong and help sponsor our hounds. Suitable for individuals, groups or businesses. Enquiries contact the Hunt Secretary or Treasurer.
Help The Huntsman:

SHC Promotion:
We need your help in promoting your club and our sport of hunting to hounds. The committee have a number of assorted flyers available for distribution to interested people, organisations or businesses. So if you have a local saddlery or such that are happy to display / receive some flyers please get yours from the SHC Secretary and do your bit to ensure the future!
